My Chiropractic Background
When I first experienced chiropractic care in 2003, I started to understand the value of Reorganizational Healing and Living instead of a traditional Restorative Care model. It was this introduction to chiropractic and specifically the technique of Network Spinal Analysis that planted the seed for my future career interest.
During my first Network Chiropractic care treatment I was neither injured nor in pain. I was simply curious about this experience because a friend at the time experienced amazing results with treatment for debilitating lower back and neck pain. Three years later, I experienced a major whiplash injury in 2006 and was told I would suffer from pain for the rest of my life.
I started my recovery with the traditional Restorative Care treatments that I was most familiar with at the time. When my healing plateaued with that approach, I started driving from Whistler to Vancouver to mix Network Chiropractic into my treatment regime. My recovery accelerated. Eventually, I realised that I was shifting my focus from recovering from injury to the potential to achieve a better level of performance than what was possible before my injury. This has since been my approach to health care and the philosophy that guided me through my Chiropractic Degree.
While completing my fifth year and my Master of Chiropractic at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, I also helped teach first and second year chiropractic skills technique classes. Through my chiropractic education and experience I learned the value and effectiveness of both traditional manual adjustments and Network Spinal Analysis.
After graduation I returned home to Vancouver, where I met my loving wife Sara and we established our first office in the Fairview Slopes area of West Broadway.
Since 2016 I have been fortunate to train directly with Donny Epstein, the creator of the technique and EpiEnergetics, in his Master-E program and since 2017 I have been grateful and honoured to serve at The Gate.
I am proudly a member of the CCBC, BCCA, CCA, CCPA, and ICPA.
